After work last night, went out to Federation Square for a couple of drinks. Although rather striking architecture for Melbourne, this recently created area has a great atmosphere about it. The square could well become my regular socialising venue(/s) – especially during summer. Melbourne trio, Regurgitator (great website by the way) are to become the “band in the bubble” next month. They will do a “David Blaine” and live for three weeks in a see-through house (but with food!) and record their album in view of the public in Federation Square. I’m a sucker for blatant publicity and will surely go down there for a look-see!! |
