Been a very weird week. Very excited to hear from a friend from the past, while one of my best friends is across the other side of the world in shock and hurting... sometimes life just isn't fair. Been a sad few days.

The second house I lived in during my time in Leeds was two streets away from the "factory" where the bombs were constructed. On the map the arrow shows Alexandra Grove, I lived south, down on Burley Lodge Road. Lets just say, it wasn't a very nice area...

Houses were searched in Leeds in relation to last weeks tragedy in London. Hyde Park was where I initially lived and Beeston was where I worked on a temporary assignment for a few weeks.

1.69 days annual leave accrued. Woo hoo!! Plans confirmed to travel next year!

Heard from my younger brother this morning at 2:30am who re-located to London three months ago. Not much sleep was had before then! Received a text from Gillian who also let me know she was okay. Still awaiting news from others, but know there is a delay in texts being sent/received.
In ten days time, three-fifths of my immediate family will be in central London. This scares me. A lot.

Baby Ennea Christo (a.k.a. Baby Orange) arrived on Friday afternoon (1st July). Received a phone call Saturday morning for a visit – was at the hospital within 20 minutes accompanied by my huge half-dried hair! Oh so gorgeous (Ennea’s not too bad either…!)
