Derek posted about The Flu tour of 1995. Difficult to believe it was ten years ago that we first met the guys from Canada – was a sleep deprived few weeks!! Recently had a drink outside the Armadale Hotel where I first met Derek, Alistair, Seb and Dirk when they supported Melbourne funk band The Truth. I was in Greville Street for the first time in probably 10 years a few weeks ago and visited The Station Hotel – another venue the band played at. Hopefully visiting Vancouver towards the end of the year – I wonder if I can convince them to do a one off show? Somehow I think not…. |
