Saturday night ventured out to the parking hell that is Brunswick Street. Dined at the Veggie Bar and then went across the road to the Evelyn to see reggae/fund band Bomba. Has been over 11 years since I first went to see Nicky Bomba play in The Truth (A Truth gig also led to meeting Canadian band The Flu/The Neurotics who were supporting at a show.) Crowded room, enthusiastic audience (or as a friend described them "disciples") and an energetic band. Been a while since I’ve enjoyed a show so much! |
