Congratulations Cathy. Cathy Freeman has not only retired after an amazing career, but also made the sports pages here in England. Only on the very odd occasion are female athletes ever mentioned in Britain. Do English women not play sport, or are the press only interested in featuring them when they are topless?? (not being sarcastic - many daily papers feature half naked "page three girls"....) Earlier today I paid £90 for a return flight to Amsterdam with Jet2. Just found out I could have paid a £1 each way (excluding taxes) if I had of waited and booked tomorrow. Not happy, not happy at all... |
