This weekend in the newspaper, someone had sent in a letter in claiming that the problem of rubbish in the streets was becoming as bad in the countryside as it is in cities. Her solution was it increase taxes to pay for more council workers to clean up the streets. I would suggest putting money towards educating people to walk TWO steps to place rubbish in a trash can. Its not such a hard concept, but one that doesn’t seem to be understood by many….getting off my soap box now….. |
