I had promised myself that I would limit the number of live shows I see this year in an attempt to save money. Purchased Crowded House tickets this morning and am still yet to pay off Noiseworks tickets for their 21st Anniversay tour (not sure why its a 21st anniversay - haven't actually been together for the last 15 years!) - well worth the investment though as we are second row!. Presuming The Cat Empire will tour before the end of the year as well.....lets just hope Wolfmother stay away! Sunday, May 27, 2007

Day 2 of the F1 Grand Prix. Office is 2.5 kms away from the track (and 14 floors up) but still very noisy. Going to see baby Luca tonight in the Children's hospital. Yet to meet baby number 2. Off to a Grand Prix party tonight - may need to indulge in a cocktail after stressful week! I wish Air was here.... bloody cancer - grrrr....maybe I'll just have to come for a visit to Vancouver... Highlights of 2006 (in no particular order) Moving into newly purchased apartment. Discovering a great fake tan! Seeing Gill again. Finally visiting New York. Inheriting a book case made by my great great grandfather Living close enough to work to be able to walk at least one way (7kms) Visiting my second home - Vancouver (and seeing my second family!). Becoming a godmother Discovering the Cat Empire and seeing them in concert three times in 6 months! The safe arrival of Meike, Seb and Jake Winning the trivia and the raffle at the work Christmas function Third row for the Robbie Williams concert! Worked hard and definitely partied hard! Looking forward to 2007. Hopefully involves and overseas adventure... |
